Bob Streit He works with producers in setting up their cropping programs and formulating their fertility and pest management programs. In the past five years, he has been working with other researchers and top high yielders to understand what creates high yields.
Since 2003, he has been traveling to South America to work with their scientists, crop specialists, and producers to learn their cropping systems and find out what they apply to the U.S. acres.
With his consulting service he provides on farm visits during the winter, field scouting during the summer, weekly newsletters and regular in-season e-mail updates.

Jared Stanley, JandJAcres “Big Family on a Small Farm” explains #GMO / GE, Hybrids & Open Pollinated Seeds
1. GMO farming increases yields. (Talk about how they start with GREAT HYBRIDS anyway- and it is the HYBRID quality, and not the GMO technology, that gives good yield, drought tolerance, etc.)
2. GMO farming makes life much easier for farmers- and they could not keep up with demand if we were to take it away. The world will starve…
3. Roundup is safe, effective, and harmless.
4. Farmer’s animals are perfectly healthy, and there are no ill effects from Roundup or other chemicals used in GMO farming.
5. GMO farming decreases the use of pesticides.
Address the disappearance of the bees and butterflies
Address the INCREASE in harsh herbicides that are coming this planting season. Why should we care if 2,4-D and Dicamba are sprayed on our foods?
6. Why do some farmers feel so adamantly that GMO farming is a good thing?
Some of the equipment used for this session was made possible by a generous contribution from GMO Free Partners.
GMO Free Partner’s goals are to promote GMO food labeling initiatives and legislation, educate the public about the dangers of eating GMO food and encourage the food industry to voluntarily label GMO food. GMO Free Partners support the efforts of farmers, fisheries, merchants and families to achieve GMO food labeling.
